- Htet Aung Kyaw @ Win Htein was born in 1964 in Tavoy (Dawei), southern Burma. He went to Tavoy College and Moulmein University for study Burmese Literature.(There is no journalism in Burma at the time). He became a member of ABSDF (All Burma Students' Democratic Front) after military coup in Sept 18, 1988. He worked 12-years for the ABSDF and 15-years for DVB (Democratic Voice of Burma). He is now a Freelance journalist. He published a book called "Far from Home: 20 Years in Exile" in Thailand in 2008. Five years later, he published a new book called "Marathon Journey of A Student Rebel" in Burmese at Yangon on May, 2013. He is now writing a new book on his life with DVB. To be publish soon.
